Users

The Administration → Users page lists everyone who currently belongs to your organisation.

What the table shows

ColumnDescription
NameFirst and last name from the user's profile.
EmailSign-in email. Clicking it opens a mail client.
PhoneOptional, formatted to international form when valid.
RoleUser or Admin. See Roles.
OrganisationVisible if you administer more than one organisation.
ActionsPer-row controls described below.

Use the search box to filter by name, email, phone, or organisation. Click any column header to sort ascending or descending.

Actions you can take

Change role

From the role badge on a row, open the role picker and choose User or Admin. The page enforces the last-admin rule and rejects the change if it would leave the organisation without an admin.

Reset password

Trigger a password-reset email for the user. The email contains a single-use link that expires in 2 days. Vox101 does not show or store the new password — the user sets it themselves through the reset link.

Use this when:

  • A user has forgotten their password and you want to expedite the reset.
  • A user has left and you need to invalidate their session by forcing them through a flow you control (deactivate them afterwards — see below).

Deactivate

Deactivating a user revokes their ability to sign in without removing their data. Their events, vocabularies, and recordings remain in place; you can reactivate at any time.

Adding users

To add a user to your organisation, send an invitation from the Invitations page. The recipient self-serves the account creation.
